Some time is not possible to remove the add-in from Excell, as it is not existing, only present in the settings of Excel. During the start of Excel, it is showed one pop-up with the error message. Example:
- Remove the Add-in from Excel (File > Options > Add-ins). Close Excel and do not start it back
- open regedit from an elevated prompt
- Select HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\version\Excel\Options
- Find and delete the registry of the addIn you want to remove.
- Advised is to restart the computer to reset Excel.
